                                                                    HAPPY DAYS
On September 19, 1998 Patty met the love of her life, Mitchell
C. Buice of Barnesville, Georgia.  They fell in love with each
other on their very first meeting.  Patty had prayed God would
send her a wonderful, loving,Christian husband.  God answered
her prayer.  As written on previous pages Patty was not in
good health and she feared she would never meet any one who
would want to be her husband.  Mitch had been confined to a
wheelchair for five years due to a motorcycle accident.  It seem-
ed from day one they were meant for each other.  They dated
fourteen months and knew they wanted to be married to each
other.  On November 20, 1999 they were united in marriage in
the Church of the Nazarene in Barnesville.  They chose this
church for several reasons one being it was wheelchair access-
ible.  It was a very large church and on the day of their wedding
the church was filled to capacity with people standing. Their
wedding was truly beautiful and one made in Heaven.  This
was the happiest day of Patty's life.

Patty and Mitch lived a very happy married life.  Mitch in his
wheelchair and Patty with two kidney transplants and a below
the knee amputation of her right leg.  Mitch was and still is
a very successful businessman and Patty was a happy school
teacher.  However, in October of 2001 Patty's health began to
decline very rapidly.  She and Mitch kept the faith and both
prayed to God that He would spare Patty from any future
illness.  Mitch and Patty were good for each other.  They under-
stood each other's problems but always looked on the bright
side of life.  They enjoyed going on vacations----several
cruises and other points of interest.  It was during these later
days Patty wished for a new car.  One morning while getting
ready for school she expressed her desire for a new car.  When
she returned home that afternoon there was a new car parked
under their carport. RIGHT CAR---RIGHT COLOR!!!  Mitch gave
Patty everything she ever desired except good health which
was not in his power. (To view pictures please scroll slightly
